It features a Janka rating of 4000 and it’s three and a half times harder than Red Oak. The home that this floor is installed in should have a consistent room temperature of 65°F – 75°F and relative humidity (RH) of 40-55 percent. This flooring has a 11-layer polyurethane/aluminum oxide finish with a high scratch resistance and can be installed in a “drop in click” style. It will maintain a beautiful appearance. It can be installed on and above grade due to the tongue and groove profile. Continual deviation from these conditions will affect the dimensions of flooring (see installation guide for more details).
